Raul Colon: I agree with you completely. On most occasions many people will return a recommendation if you requested by being polite. In other it can even create issues when someone rejects to give you a recommendation via linkedin. I think it would be great if we could analyze the benefits it has vs. possible disadvantages. So far in my experience and other that are close to me have many negative stories regarding recommendations.
